Information collected
When you file a complaint, we collect the report details you submit. Your name or alias, email address, incident date, witness details and evidence link are optional. We also record the submission time and the page from which the report was filed.
How it is used
Reports may be reviewed for creative inspiration, audience engagement, moderation, story development and responses concerning the submitted report. Submitting a report does not guarantee that it will appear in a story or receive a response.
Email updates
If you provide an email and separately select the marketing opt-in box, we may send story releases, Bureau news and promotional updates. Consent is optional and is not required to file a complaint. Marketing messages should provide a way to unsubscribe.
Storage and access
Submissions are stored in the site’s private complaint ledger and may be mirrored to a private Google Sheet controlled by the site owner. Do not submit passwords, financial information, medical information or other highly sensitive personal data.
Your choices
You may request deletion of a submission or withdrawal from marketing communications by contacting the site owner through the same channel where this site was shared with you. Include the complaint file number when available.
